  • Successfully opposing a competitor’s trade mark applications for a large online retailer, with favourable judgements both in opposition proceedings at IP Australia and on appeal in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
  • Developing and implementing a strong trade mark enforcement strategy for a national healthcare business, identifying and successfully pursuing multiple infringers.
  • Successfully defending an overseas industrial supply company in relation to Australian Consumer Law and passing of claims in the County Court of Victoria.
  • Assisting a large national property developer with the joint venture acquisition of an established brand, including preparation of IP terms for joint venture, assignment and licensing agreements.
  • Managing complex trade mark removal proceedings in the Federal Court of Australia for an international hotel chain.
