The National Breast Cancer Foundation

Actuate IP filed an auDRP domain name complaint on behalf of NBCF relating to the domain name www.nbcf.com.au, which an unrelated party had registered. This was resolved with the domain name transferred to NBCF, and finally with the website. Actuate IP also assisted with related trade mark filings.

Unilever

Actuate IP acted for Unilever during trade mark infringement proceedings in the Federal Court of Australia against a wholesaler distributing counterfeit beauty cream bars bearing the Dove trade mark. It resolved prior to trial on commercially favourable terms, which included the desired injunction, a declaration from the court confirming that the wholesaler had infringed Unilever’s registered trade marks and the wholesaler agreeing to pay Unilever a material sum in compensation.

Dickies Logo Colour

Dickies

Actuate IP was engaged by Williamson Dickson (a global workwear manufacturer) to commence trade mark infringement proceedings in the Federal Court of Australia in relation to its Dickies trade mark. It was resolved prior to trial.

Actuate IP manages Life-Space’s extensive international trade mark portfolio for its key brands, including Life-Space. Life-Space, its head brand, is a leading premium probiotic formulation distributed around the world.

Budget Direct

Actuate IP has assisted Budget Direct with a range of its Australian trade marks, prosecuting it successfully with the Trade Marks Office at IP Australia to achieve acceptance and registration. Budget Direct is a leading car and home insurance provider.

The Locale Group

Actuate IP manages The Locale Group’s key fashion trade marks, including Talulah, Isla, and Stevie May, in Australia and overseas. Actuate IP has also assisted with successfully enforcing The Locale Group’s trade mark rights against infringers in Australia.
